A Model for Green Transformation in Computing Infrastructure

The Langfang AI Data Center is designed to Uptime Tier III+ and China National Class A standards. The site features an exceptionally high external power area ratio (1.86), which enhances power density and computing efficiency. In response to the growing demand for high-performance computing and environmental compliance, BodaData adopted a low-carbon, modular, and flexible design philosophy—focusing particularly on next-generation cooling solutions to meet the evolving needs of enterprise clients.

At the heart of this innovation is a dual-coil DX water-cooled air conditioning system with open cooling towers, integrating natural and mechanical cooling. The system dynamically switches cooling modes based on ambient temperature, enabling year-round use of natural cooling sources and significantly reducing compressor energy consumption. As a result, the facility achieves a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) far superior to conventional systems.

Decentralized Cooling, Modular Design, Smarter Efficiency

Unlike traditional designs, the Langfang center eliminates the use of centralized chilled water systems and storage tanks, which frees up space and increases the usable IT area. Each terminal unit is equipped with its own compressor, forming fine-grained, independently controlled cooling modules that enhance system reliability and energy efficiency.

The modular, prefabricated construction approach allows for rapid deployment and simplified maintenance, while also reducing overall costs. More importantly, the system supports elastic density deployment, enabling the center to adapt to various power load requirements with precision and scalability—demonstrating both forward-thinking design and operational flexibility.

A Scalable, Low-Carbon Blueprint for the Future

Serving as a key digital hub in the Beijing–Tianjin economic region, the Langfang AI Data Center not only showcases BodaData’s technical innovation but also reflects its long-term commitment to sustainable industry development. Building on the core DX water-cooled system, the facility integrates fluorine-pump-based natural cooling, high-efficiency power modules, and intelligent lighting to create a low-carbon, high-efficiency intelligent computing platform.

Its successful delivery boosts regional computing capacity and provides a scalable, replicable solution for green data center construction—laying a solid foundation for future smart city infrastructure.

Recognized Impact, Continued Commitment

The inclusion of BodaData’s solution in a national high-quality case list is a clear recognition of its technical innovation and industry contribution. Looking ahead, BodaData will continue to drive sustainable digital development through green technology, operational excellence, and ecosystem collaboration—powering the future of intelligent computing with responsibility and resilience.
