BodaData Celebrates Two-Year Brand Renewal Milestone
May 9, 2025, BodaData commemorates the two-year anniversary of its brand renewal. Over the past two years, the company has evolved from a national player into a globally positioned enabler, deploying intelligent computing centers across China and Southeast Asia, and building momentum toward a fully integrated compute ecosystem.
Amid the accelerating global race for AI leadership, BodaData continues to redefine the digital infrastructure landscape through expanded coverage, technology innovation, and ecosystem collaboration.
Strategic Leap: From Dual-Core Deployment to Global Reach
AI has become the primary driver of global compute demand. According to industry data, the total worldwide computing power reached 1,397 EFlops in 2023 and is projected to exceed 16 ZFlops by 2030, with an average annual growth rate of over 50%. China’s intelligent computing capacity is expected to hit 1,271 EFlops by 2026, reflecting a compound growth rate of 52.3% from 2021.
In response, BodaData has rapidly expanded its footprint under the strategy of “Dual-Core in China, Hub Overseas.” Domestically, the company has established hyperscale intelligent computing clusters in key economic zones, including the Capital Economic Circle, the Yangtze River Delta, the Greater Bay Area, and the Chengdu–Chongqing region. Its Langfang facility serves as the preferred data center and active backup for Beijing and Tianjin, with Phase I delivering up to 50,000P of computing power. Meanwhile, the BodaData Qianhai Artificial Intelligence Data Center in Shenzhen, with an investment of RMB 2 billion and over 15,000 planned high-density racks, is becoming a key node in China’s digital integration with the global market.
Internationally, the recently launched HIVE Philippines AI Data Center, spanning 25,000 square meters and over 3,600 high-density racks, marks BodaData’s first strategic node in Southeast Asia. With a PUE of under 1.35, the site supports a range of AI, cloud, and traditional workloads. According to the 2024 Southeast Asia Digital Economy Report, the region’s digital trade volume is projected to reach USD 263 billion, with AI contributing 10–18% to GDP growth. BodaData’s entry into this high-growth market positions it as a key bridge connecting East and Southeast Asia in the intelligent infrastructure race.
Technological Breakthrough: From Basic Infrastructure to “AI Data Center+”
BodaData is advancing from traditional data center operations to a new model defined as “AI Data Center+”—an integrated, intelligent, and service-oriented compute platform. The company has built a four-pillar service system that includes core infrastructure, network interconnection, intelligent operations (AIOps), and value-added services.
To meet the rising compute needs of AI model training and inference, BodaData has enabled multi-center coordination through advanced data transmission and AI-driven operations. On the sustainability front, BodaData is pioneering liquid cooling and energy-saving technologies. Its Langfang site features a “dual-coil DX water-cooled system with open cooling towers,” while the Qianhai center utilizes an “evaporative heat pipe AC energy-saving system,” which recently received the “New Technology Application Award” from the China Communications Enterprises Association.
BodaData also provides industry-specific compute solutions, from high-compliance, low-latency infrastructures for fintech firms to elastic resources for manufacturing, medical data analysis, and even film production—where its “AI Data Center + Film” model supports scalable computing for cinematic digitalization.
Ecosystem Building: From Isolated Growth to Global Collaboration
In today’s digital economy, ecosystem thinking has replaced isolated competition. BodaData is actively reshaping industry logic through openness, standardization, and global partnership networks. Its R&D–industry–academia integration strategy enables long-term collaboration and innovation.
In Southeast Asia, BodaData follows a “HQ enablement + local development” approach. The company partners with Makati University in the Philippines to co-develop talent training programs while deploying Chinese tech teams to establish architectural foundations. In China, BodaData has built strategic alliances across its value chain and launched technical consortia to share innovation outputs and create a virtuous innovation cycle.
The Philippines AI Data Center not only delivers infrastructure but also exports Chinese standards for AI data center design and operations, offering modular configurations adapted to local application and regulatory needs. This positions BodaData as a trailblazer in helping Chinese firms shape regional technology standards abroad.
Two Years of Brand Renewal: Toward a More Intelligent, Global Future
From infrastructure deployment to international market expansion, from tech-driven innovation to ecosystem collaboration, BodaData is evolving from a regional service provider to a global intelligent infrastructure enabler. In the two years since its brand renewal, BodaData has redefined the meaning of “Chinese intelligent infrastructure,” with a global perspective and stronger institutional vision.
Looking ahead, BodaData will continue to focus on three pillars: new infrastructure, new technologies, and new ecosystems. The company plans to deepen domestic cluster deployment, expand into emerging markets such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East, and explore the convergence of intelligent computing with AI foundation models. By collaborating with global partners to build a sustainable and efficient compute network, BodaData aims to deliver powerful Chinese answers in the global intelligent era.
