time:2025-05-29

Hong Kong – May 28, 2025 — BodaData, showcased its global capabilities and dual-track “Bring in and Go global” strategy at the 2025 Greater Bay Area Cloud &Data Center Convention. Held in Hong Kong, the convention brought together over 600 industry leaders and senior executives from more than 40 global companies to explore the theme of “Resilience, Recovery, and Reinvention” in the era of intelligent computing.

At booth B1, BodaData demonstrated its end-to-end intelligent computing solutions, highlighting its capacity to power digital growth within the Greater Bay Area and expand internationally through interconnected infrastructure and green innovation.

Anchored in the Bay Area: Building an Bring in AI Compute Core

As a key player in the Greater Bay Area’s digital economy, BodaData has established a strategic intelligent computing network centered around the BodaData Qianhai Artificial Intelligence Data Center, complemented by resources in Guangzhou and Foshan. Located in Shenzhen’s Qianhai Free Trade Zone, the Qianhai facility represents a major investment of RMB 2 billion, with over 50,000 square meters of total space and a planned capacity of 15,000 high-density AI racks. The first phase alone will deliver up to 40,000P of compute power, making it one of the largest and most advanced AI data centers under construction in Shenzhen.

“The foundation of corporate strategy is balancing short-term value creation with long-term operational resilience,” said Wing Cheung, CEO of BodaData.
“True ‘
Bring in’ development is not just about importing technology—it’s about building an ecosystem where global innovation and local demand resonate and evolve together.”

Going Global: Writing a New Chapter in Cross-Border Computing

While solidifying its presence in China, BodaData is also expanding its footprint across the Asia-Pacific region. In Manila, the company is developing an AI-integrated data center designed to serve both local demand and regional connectivity. This project positions BodaData as a strategic enabler of digital transformation in Southeast Asia’s second-most populous nation.

Following a dual-track model of “Chinese knowledge export + localized operation”, the Manila project leverages advanced technology from partnerswhile co-building multi-path network routes with local telecom operators. This ensures deep integration into the regional digital ecosystem and reduces operational risks.

To align with the Philippines’ transition from traditional colocation to cloud computing, BodaData’s initial focus is on core infrastructure and managed cloud services, supported by AI-powered operational systems for enhanced energy efficiency. Future phases will integrate with regional subsea cable networks and scale to support AI workloads, offering flexibility for local clients and mitigating the risk of premature overbuild.

In terms of talent development, BodaData adopts a “headquarter-led enablement + local cultivation” model. While the Chinese team establishes the foundational architecture, partnerships with institutions such as Makati University support sustainable local workforce development.

“Cultural differences are not obstacles—they are sources of innovation,” Wing added.
The project’s joint management structure maintains operational standards while empowering local teams with decision-making authority. Compliance frameworks meet both the Philippines' Data Privacy Act and neighboring regulatory requirements, positioning the center as a model for cross-border data governance.

Shared Vision at the Summit: Redefining Sustainable AI Infrastructure

At this year’s summit, BodaData’s booth featured immersive exhibits on its Qianhai intelligent computing deployment and green initiatives from its Manila project—including carbon footprint tracking and renewable energy solutions. These offerings strongly align with the summit’s core agenda on sustainable digital infrastructure.

While the global industry continues to debate the paradox between AI power demands and energy consumption, BodaData is already delivering proof that “green and intelligent” are not mutually exclusive—but mutually reinforcing.

A Dialogue Between Chinese Intelligence and Global Vision

From the interconnected compute grid across the Greater Bay Area to its overseas expansion in Southeast Asia, from ongoing breakthroughs in green technology to ecosystem co-creation across borders, BodaData is actively shaping a future where China’s AI infrastructure connects with the world.

“When the global spotlight turns to the digital future of the Greater Bay Area, BodaData’s presence at booth B1 is more than a technical showcase—it's a conversation about how Chinese intelligent infrastructure will define the next digital era.”
